Kyle Feldt will become the 13th Life Member of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys when he runs out for his 200th appearance for the club in Saturday night’s Anzac Round showdown with the Penrith Panthers at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Feldt will be just the 10th player in Cowboys history to appear in 200 games for the club.
Born and bred in Townsville, the 32-year-old, who recently became the Cowboys’ all-time leading try scorer, is in his 12th NRL season after debuting in 2013.
Saturday night doubles as an enormous occasion for Cowboys halfback Chad Townsend, who will celebrate his 250th NRL appearance.
Townsend appeared in 146 games for the Sharks and 46 for the Warriors before moving to North Queensland in 2022, where he has compiled 57 games across three seasons.
Prop Tom Mikaele is set to become Cowboy No.314 after being named to make his club debut from the interchange against the Panthers.
The 26-year-old has previously appeared in 67 NRL games across stints with the Wests Tigers and Titans.
Griffin Neame has been promoted to the starting side in place of Jason Taumalolo in the only other change to Todd Payten’s 17.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 7.35pm.
