-----------------------------------------------------------------

Townsville born and bred, Chester shot from the clouds to make his NRL debut in 2022.

Chester played his junior football for Townsville Brothers before graduating from renowned rugby league nursery Ignatius Park College. After playing much of his junior career as a half, Chester emerged as a utility in the under 21s for the Townsville Blackhawks, spending time at fullback, wing, centre and lock.

The 22-year-old was named at fullback in Round 3 of the 2023 season and would go on to string seven games together before he suffered a season-ending ACL injury against the Sharks.

Chester is contracted until the end of the 2025 season.
