Jack Gosiewski has been recalled for his first NRL appearance of the 2024 season, replacing injured second-rower Heilum Luki in Todd Payten’s 22-man North Queensland Toyota Cowboys squad to face the Dragons in Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has been elevated to the starting side to replace Luki, who is set for six weeks on the sideline with an ankle injury.
Gosiewski has produced two terrific performances for the Northern Pride in their undefeated start to the season, averaging 139 running metres and 27 tackles a game.
The remainder of Payten’s squad is unchanged from the victory over the Knights in Round 2.
Emarly Bitungane joins the reserves in place of Gosiewski.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 4.30pm (QLD).
