Cowboys NRL team list: Round 22 v Roosters

Soni Luke has been named to make his second start of the season for Thursday’s clash with the Sydney Roosters at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Luke replaces hooker Reed Mahoney, who will miss the match through concussion.

Jaxon Purdue has again been named at halfback, with Tom Dearden set for at least another three games on the sideline.

John Bateman has been named on the interchange as he closes in on a return from a hamstring injury.

Bateman replaces Griffin Neame, who accepted a one-match suspension stemming from the victory over the Broncos.

Thursday’s game kicks off at 7.50pm.
