North Queensland Toyota Cowboys co-captain Tom Dearden has been named in an extended 23-man squad to face the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on Sunday as he edges closer from injury.
Dearden has been sidelined since Round 10 after sustaining a syndesmosis injury and a later-discovered fracture.
Dearden’s inclusion is one of just two changes to Todd Payten’s squad, with Ronald Philitoga replacing Jaxson Paulo in the reserves.
