Jason Taumalolo is set to become the first player in the 31-year history of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys to reach 300 NRL games when he takes the field to face the Penrith Panthers at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 33-year-old reaches the historic milestone almost 16 years after making his NRL debut as a 17-year-old in Round 24 of the 2010 season.
Taumalolo will become just the 56th player in premiership history to appear in 300 games.
Cowboys Head Coach Todd Payten has named an unchanged side to face the Panthers.
Jeremiah Nanai remains in the second row after a terrific return from a shoulder injury against the Warriors, while Jaxon Purdue holds his spot at five-eighth after an encouraging display in his first game in the halves for 2026.
Taumalolo and Tom Mikaele return to the starting side after shifting to the interchange last weekend.
Saturday’s game kicks off 5.30pm.
