
North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Head Coach Todd Payten has named his four State of Origin representatives to face the Wests Tigers at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday evening.
Co-captains Tom Dearden and Reuben Cotter along with hooker Reece Robson and second-rower Jeremiah Nanai will be assessed upon their return to North Queensland on Thursday and will take their place if passed fit.
Jaxson Paulo will become Cowboy No.324 after being named on the wing in place of Murray Taulagi who remains sidelined with a calf injury.
Sam McIntyre is set to start at prop with Jason Taumalolo also unavailable with a calf injury.
With four players appearing in Wednesday night’s Origin opener, the Cowboys are permitted to name an extended 24-man squad.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 5.30pm.
