North Queensland Toyota Cowboys representative duo Griffin Neame and Jeremiah Nanai will miss Saturday’s regular season finale against the Canberra Raiders at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Neame has been rested due to a lingering toe injury, while Nanai sustained a minor knee injury during the win over the Wests Tigers.
Both players are expected to be fit for the opening week of the finals.
Coen Hess starts in the front row, while John Bateman will make his first start of the 2026 season in the second row.
Robert Derby has been named on the wing, with Zac Laybutt ruled out due to concussion.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 5.30pm.
