North Queensland Toyota Cowboys duo Braidon Burns and Sam McIntyre are set to return from injury to face the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Thursday night.
Both Burns and McIntyre missed the XXXX Derby victory over the Broncos with ankle and foot injuries, respectively.
Burns has been named on the wing in a straight swap for Murray Taulagi, who will sit out the Manly clash due to a concussion.
McIntyre has been named on the interchange, with Kai O’Donnell remaining in the second row.
Reed Mahoney will also miss the Manly game, with medical staff opting to rest the Cowboys dummy half after coping a head knock early in the Broncos showdown.
Soni Luke is set to start his first game in Cowboys colours after a terrific performance in extended minutes against Brisbane.
After celebrating his 150th NRL game on Friday night in Brisbane, Scott Drinkwater is set to become just the 20th player in club history to play 150 games for the Cowboys.
Thursday’s game kicks off at 7.50pm
