North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NRLW Head Coach Ricky Henry will unleash four club debutants in Saturday’s season opening clash against the Gold Coast Titans at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Kiwi Ferns star Abigail Roache has been named at centre after joining the club from the Newcastle Knights where she was part of the 2023 NRLW grand final-winning side.
Fellow Kiwi Rosie Kelly will partner Kirra Dibb in the halves, while Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell starts in the second-row to face her former team.
Former Wests Tigers prop Najvada George rounds out the debutants, named on the interchange for her Cowboys debut.
Jillaroos standout Jakiya Whitfeld shifts to fullback after spending her debut season at the Cowboys in 2024 at centre, with Fran Goldthorp switching to the wing.
Lillian Yarrow has been rewarded with a starting front row spot alongside Origin star Makenzie Weale after an impressive pre-season.
Veteran Tallisha Harden is set to start her first game at second row since the 2021 NRLW season.
