North Queensland Toyota Cowboys second-rower Jeremiah Nanai has been named to return from an AC joint injury in Thursday night’s clash with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Nanai, who has been sidelined since Round 21, has been named to start in the second row, with Coen Hess moving back to the bench.
Co-captain Jason Taumalolo is set to become the youngest player in Cowboys history to reach 250 club games.
The six-time Paul Bowman Medal winner will become just the fourth Cowboy to reach the milestone, joining Johnathan Thurston, Matt Scott and Matt Bowen.
The man of the match on Thursday night will be awarded the Paul Green Medal, as judged by the winning Head Coach.
Thursday’s game kicks off at 7.50pm.
