Key stats: Round 11 v Knights

We take a look at some of the key stats from Thursday night's 36-20 win over the Newcastle Knights at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. 


The number of tries Murray Taulagi scored and how many try assists Scott Drinkwater had in Thursday night’s win. It was Taulagi’s eighth try of the season and Drinkwater’s 10th try assist.


The number of Cowboys who ran for at least 100 metres on the night. Feldt (236m), Jason Taumalolo (194m) and Taulagi (192m) topped the count for North Queensland.  


The number of tackle breaks both wingers had in the 16-point win over the Knights. Feldt (236m) and Taulagi (192m) also combined for eight line breaks.


The number of line breaks the Cowboys had on Thursday night, the most the team has had since Round 13, 2016, coincidently when they also had 11 against the Newcastle Knights.


Forward Heilum Luki became just the 21st Cowboy in club history to score a try in his NRL debut. Luki ran for 85 metres on seven runs and made 17 tackles in 26 minutes on the park.
