Scott Drinkwater and Jason Taumalolo will co-captain the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys in the absence of Reuben Cotter and Tom Dearden in Sunday’s clash against South Sydney at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Taumalolo returns to the side at lock after resting for last weekend’s Magic Round victory over the Roosters.
Cowboys Head Coach Todd Payten has recalled Robert Derby for his first appearance at NRL level in 2026.
Derby replaces winger Braidon Burns, who sustained a low-grade hamstring injury last weekend. Burns is expected to return in Round 13.
Kai O’Donnell also returns to the interchange after missing a week through an ankle injury.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 4.05pm.
