Cowboys Brisvegas membership 2023/24 season 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

These Terms & Conditions apply to Cowboys Brisvegas promotional membership for the 2024 season. 

These Terms & Conditions do not apply to "Distant Star", “Club 95”, “Diamond Star”, “Platinum Star”, “Platinum Lite Star”, “Fanatics Bay”, “Gold Star”, “Flexi 4”, “Home Star”, “Dual Cowboys Maroons”, “Super Star” or “Rising Star” memberships, which are available to read here.

The Cowboys Brisvegas Membership is a promotional membership offered for the 2024 season only. These Terms & Conditions do not apply to 2025 membership.

If the Cowboys Brisvesgas Membership is offered in 2025, we will contact you to provide you with the terms and conditions that apply to that membership.

The Terms & Conditions will be readily available to you via a direct hyperlink in the email we send to you and by request to our membership email address provided with the renewal email.

We will also publish the Terms & Conditions on our website.

In these Terms & Conditions, we will refer to the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys as ‘us’, ‘we and ‘our’. We will refer to a Cowboys Brisvegas member in these Terms & Conditions as a ‘Brisvegas member’, ‘member’, ‘you’ and ‘your’.

By applying for membership, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and that each other member listed in your membership account has read and understood or will comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Term & Conditions amends, limits or excludes any rights or remedies that a member may have under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be amended, limited or excluded.

Please read these Terms & Conditions prior to joining for the 2024 season.

Permitted use

 1. Consumer memberships may only be used for non-commercial (personal) purposes by the Account Holder only.

2. Use of Consumer membership products for any commercial purpose is prohibited; a commercial purpose is any activity with the intent to gain commercial advantage of any kind, including marketing promotions (including prizes), market research, consumer data collection, stakeholder or community engagement, educational purposes or awareness campaigns.

3. Re-sale of Consumer membership products for commercial purposes, either in full, or separated into match tickets or member benefits (i.e. Cowboys Team Shop voucher), is strictly prohibited.

4. Any member found to be using a Consumer membership for a commercial purpose, or having granted a third party to use their membership for a commercial purpose, will have their membership immediately cancelled without offering a refund, and any future applications for membership refused.

Membership entitlements

5. Membership categories for the 2024 season are explained on our website and include corporate-lite ‘Club 95’ full season membership as well as our ‘Diamond Star’, ‘Platinum Star’, 'Gold Star’, 'Flexi 4', 'Home Star', 'Distant Star' and ‘Supporter’ memberships.

6. Different entitlements apply to different membership categories and the entitlements may change from season-to-season. 

7. We may also change the name and/or price of membership categories or introduce new categories of membership.

8. By purchasing a membership, you become a member of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys for the period of that membership. Each membership relates to a National Rugby League (NRL) season but is current for our Club’s ‘financial year’, which is 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024 for the 2024 season.

9. As a member, you can enjoy applicable membership benefits (such as discounts on merchandise) during the whole of the club’s financial year for the membership (not just during the playing season). 10. Cowboys Brisvegas membership includes one ticket to each of the following Cowboys away games in Brisbane during the 2024 NRL season: Cowboys v Dolphins on Sun 10 March 2024, Cowboys v Broncos on Friday 29 March 2024 and Cowboys v Rabbitohs on Saturday 18 May 2024. 

11. Additional match tickets to the above games cannot be purchased from the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. To secure additional seats via the Cowboys you will be required to purchase the equivalent number of Brisvegas memberships. Alternatively, if available, game-by-game tickets can be sourced from the ticketing provider used by the home teams for these games. 

12. Cowboys Brisvegas membership includes access for one person (the member) to a Brisbane members meet up at the Paddo Tavern on 10 March 2024 at 1.00pm.

13. Cowboys Brisvegas membership includes a Cowboys adults' members merchandise pack with one limited edition flag per member.

14. The limited edition flag will be made available for collection from the Brisbane Members Meet Up on 10 March 2024 at 1.00pm. as well as at the Cowboys v Dolphins game on Sunday 10 March 2024 (location at game to be advised via email). 

15. If unable to collect their flag from the Members Meet Up OR the Cowboys v Dolphins game on Sunday 10 March 2024, members may arrange for the flag to be posted to them at their own cost by contacting the Membership Team on 1300 462 692 (opt 1).

Overview of the renewal process for Cowboys Brisvegas memberships

16. The Cowboys Brisvegas membership is a promotional membership, available for the 2024 season only. 

17. If we decide to offer the Cowboys Brisvegas membership for the 2025 season, we will contact you via email with an offer to 'renew'.

18. This email will advise of any variations between your previous membership package for 2024 and the new promotional membership package for 2025, including any changes to: included games, pricing, eligibility criteria, benefits or seating arrangements. 

19. If the Cowboys Brisvegas membership is not offered in the 2025 season, we will contact you with information about our Distant Star away game membership or a similar away game product. 

20. There is no obligation to renew your membership for 2025, even if a Cowboys Brisvegas membership or similar product is offered for that season.

Paying for membership 

21. Membership can be purchased using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Visa or MasterCard debit card, Cash, Eftpos or Cheque. 

22. You should only apply for membership if you are the card holder or with the authority of the card holder. If you are not the card holder and you apply or have applied for season membership, you represent and warrant to us that you have the authority of the card holder to do so.

Opting-out of membership

23. Because Cowboys Brisvegas membership is a promotional product currently available for the 2024 season only, this membership can only be 'renewed' if the member purchases a new membership product for 2025. As such, to opt out, simply do not to purchase a membership.

24. To prevent any follow up reminders from us, you can also advise us of your decision to opt out at any time, which must be in writing to membership@cowboys.com.au or by post to PO Box 1411, Townsville, Qld, 4810. 

25. Notifications to opt-out of membership cannot be given verbally (i.e. over the phone or at our reception desk).

Terms applicable to Cowboys Team Shop Vouchers provided with membership

26. The Cowboys Team Shop Online voucher can only be redeemed online at cowboysteamshop.com.au by entering your unique voucher code into the ‘promo code’ section on the check-out page.

27. The voucher must be used in one transaction and no change or voucher for the balance will be given.

28. Only one voucher can be used per transaction.

29. The voucher is not valid for use on sale items.

30. 2024 vouchers are valid until 31 August 2024.

General terms

31. All prices set out on this website and these Term & Conditions are GST-inclusive.

32. Memberships purchased after any 2024 home OR away games for the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will not be priced on a pro-rata basis and will be charged at the full membership price published on the website unless otherwise offered by us.

33. Any requests for changes to your membership must be made in writing to the Membership Team by emailing membership@cowboys.com.au.

34. Game allocation is only valid for the Cowboys away game included within your membership for the applicable membership season. Access is not guaranteed for any other event or venue, including the NRL Finals series. Tickets must be purchased separately through the ticketing provider for these events.  You agree to comply with the terms of the ticket issuer for those events/venues.

35. Refund of membership is not permitted for change of mind or for changes in personal circumstances.  

36. Where a member has a right to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, a refund will be provided.  

37. The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys reserves the right to require the return of any merchandise supplied as part of a membership package as a precondition of providing a full or partial refund of membership fees or, in the event that the member cannot or does not return the merchandise, the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will deduct the cost of the merchandise from the refund amount.

38. The club has a Hardship Relief Request policy which outlines the process regarding a request by a member for payment relief or a refund because of changes in either personal or macroeconomic financial situations. Please contact the membership manager via email on membership@cowboys.com.au to request an application form if required.

39. All members agree to the terms of entry of the relevant venue (which hosts their chosen away game) and that those terms may be amended by the owner or operator of the venue from time to time. 

40. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your membership, including match tickets, if you breach the terms of entry of the game venue, breach the Cowboys Members & Fans Code of Conduct or have been removed by security or police from the venue.

41. We may cancel part or all of an event to which your membership applies (including games and other events) (“Cowboys Event”) if an event outside our reasonable control occurs that impacts or may impact on the relevant Cowboys Event including, but not limited to, fire, storm, flood, tsunami, earthquake, explosion, war, invasion, rebellion, sabotage, epidemic, pandemic (including the Covid-19 pandemic), government intervention or orders (whether mandatory or recommended), labour dispute, labour shortage, failure or delay in transportation and act or omission of any third person (including the NRL, subcontractors, customers, governments or government agencies) (each such event a “Force Majeure Event”). If a Force Majeure Event occurs that affects a Cowboys Event, or the ability for a Cowboys Event to be held, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you. However, where the event is sudden or last-minute, this may not be possible. While we do not offer refunds for Cowboys Events cancelled in whole or in part due to Force Majeure Events, before or after the Force Majeure Event occurs, we will contact you about whether the affected Cowboys Event will be rescheduled or what other options we may be able to offer to you.

42. We are not the owners or operators of Suncorp Stadium. We do not make any representation or warranty that your seat at the stadium (whether reserved or unreserved) will be unaffected by any of the Force Majeure Events referred to in the clause above that may occur before, during or after a game or event. You acknowledge and agree that such Force Majeure Events are beyond our control and may impact on your enjoyment of, or ability to watch, an event or game.

43. If you hold a government-issued companion card please refer to the relevant policy of the venue hosting your chosen away game for details of companion seats (if available). 

44. Your ticket will be emailed to you prior to your away games by the Cowboys Membership team. You will receive your tickets to the 3 away games, at separate times throughout the season. They will be emailed 1-2 weeks out from each game.

45. The North Queensland Toyota Club’s primary means of communication is email however we may also need to contact you by phone or other methods about matters relating to your membership. 

46. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details and make sure your contact details are complete and correct.

47. When you join as a member, you consent to receiving:

a. club updates and offers;

b. sponsor and partner offers; and

c. NRL ticketing offers (see clause 56-58, below).

48. You can unsubscribe or change your preferences for the types of emails you receive by following the link to the preference centre at the bottom of any Cowboys’ email.

49. If you are over 18 and a 2024 member, you will receive a complimentary membership to the Cowboys Leagues Club (cowboysleagues.com.au) valued at $11. Members will be contacted by the Cowboys Leagues Club regarding the membership card and entitlements.

50. You must provide your full date of birth with your membership application and in your membership account so we can verify your age.  A person can only hold one Leagues Club membership. Your Leagues Club membership is valid until 31 October 2023 and is subject to the conditions of entry for the Leagues Club, which you can read here: Entry requirements

51. Leagues Club membership cannot be transferred to another person or listed in a family or company name.

52. From time to time the NRL releases tickets to members of all NRL clubs for a variety of events – including State of Origin, International Tests, NRL Finals series and the NRL Grand Final – prior to those tickets going on sale to the general public. These offers are subject to their own terms and conditions and these Terms & Conditions do not apply to those events. 

53. The Cowboys does not make any representation or give any warranty on behalf of the promoter of those in relation to these. Purchase entitlement codes are required to secure tickets for these types of events. These offers will be communicated electronically.

54. Cowboys Brisvegas members are entitled to second priority access to State of Origin tickets and NRL tickets. Second priority is defined as access to a buying window prior to general public on-sale but following the full season ticketed members (first priority) buying window. Your email address must be supplied to receive notification of the buying window and you must be subscribed to NRL ticketing offers.

55. It is a condition of financial membership that members give consent to Cowboys Rugby League Football Limited, its affiliates and agents, to use their image and likeness and/or any interview statements from members in its publications, advertising or other media activities (including the Internet), without compensation or other remuneration, now or in the future. 

56. By signing up for a membership, you provide this consent, and you represent that any others on whose behalf you are obtaining a membership (e.g. family members) also give the same consent.

57. We will need to collect personal information from you and persons on your membership account (such as your name, age and contact details). In providing this information to us, you agree to the terms of our privacy policy, which you can view here: Privacy Policy

58. Members are entitled to a 10% discount off home game tickets for family and friends. This discount can be accessed by using your membership number during the Ticketmaster purchase process for game day tickets. Please note that a maximum of four tickets can be purchased per game per member with this discount.

59. Members are entitled to a 10% discount off merchandise at the Cowboys Team Shop, excluding members’ polos. This discount can be accessed in person by showing your current membership card or online by logging into the Cowboys Team Shop using your MyCowboys username and password.

Papua New Guinea Australia Post Delivery Suspended

60. At the commencement of the 2024 NRL season, Australia Post have advised Papua New Guinea does not have a delivery service for parcels from Australia. 

61. For the delivery of membership merchandise packs for members based in Papua New Guinea, these members will be given the choice of:

A) providing an Australian delivery address for their merchandise pack

B) nominating a date to collect their merchandise pack from Cowboys HQ at the Hutchinson Builders Centre, 26 Graham Murray Place, Townsville QLD Australia before the last home game of 2024 

C) choosing not to receive a members merchandise pack

D) opting out of membership.

62. If a member chooses not to receive a members merchandise pack due to the above postal restrictions, no discount will be offered on the price of membership.
