North Queensland Toyota Cowboys co-captain Reuben Cotter has been named the club’s 2026 Paul Bowman Medallist.
It marks the first Player of the Year award for Cotter in his eighth season at the club.
The Sarina Crocodiles junior appeared in 22 of a possible 25 games, averaging an impressive 66 minutes per outing.
Cotter finished ninth in the NRL with 876 tackles at a remarkable 91 per cent efficiency.
His finest performance came in the thrilling XXXX Derby victory over the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, where he registered a line break, two tackle breaks, two offloads, 37 tackles and 137 running metres.
Cotter polled 22 Paul Bowman Medal votes to finish three ahead of centre Tom Chester.
