NRLW Dally M Update: Round 1

Jillaroos stars Jessica Sergis and Evania Pelite have surged to the top of the NRLW Dally M leaderboard after stirring performances in Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Women's Premiership.

Votes and the leaderboard will be updated and shown publicly for the opening month of the 11-week competition with Sergis and Pelite polling a maximum six points in Round 1 under a new voting system in 2023.

The new Dally M voting process sees two judges watch each game in 2023 and award points on a three-two-one basis, meaning a maximum of six points are available for every match of the 2023 Telstra Women's Premiership season.

Three players polled five votes each including Wests Tigers pair Sarah Togatuki and Ebony Prior, who were enormous in their inaugural victory over the Eels on Sunday.

Roosters recruit Millie Boyle and Dragons fullback Teagan Berry impressed for their sides on Saturday to poll four votes each while 13 other players attracted points.
