Robson and Luki set career-highs in win over the Dragons

We take a look at five key stats to come out of Saturday night's win over the St George Illawarra Dragons at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

The number of tries scored by Heilum Luki, Kyle Feldt and Tom Dearden, marking the first time three Cowboys have scored doubles in the same match since the 2015 Preliminary Final, when Justin O’Neill, Michael Morgan and Gavin Cooper crossed twice each.

The career-high number of line break assists by Reece Robson. The 24-year-old also added 39 tackles and ran for 87 metres in the win.

The number of line breaks on Saturday, the most by the Cowboys in 2023 and only the third time since 2016 the team has had double-digit line breaks. Heilum Luki and Murray Taulagi led the way with two each.

The career-high number of running metres by Heilum Luki. The Cairns Brothers junior also matched his career-high in tackle breaks (6), while also adding 21 tackles without a miss.

The game-high number of running metres by Valentine Holmes. It is the third time the 27-year-old has run for at least 200 metres in a game in 2023, and the fourth time he has led the team in running metres.
