2022 Cowboys trading cards are here!

One card will be released at each of the Cowboys’ 12 home games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, for full season members  under the age of 17 only*.

Head of Membership and Ticketing Sharon Cunningham said early news of the 12-card set had received enormous interest from members.

“We’re thrilled to offer the Cowboys trading card set in 2022 as a thank you to all the families who’ve committed to attending our 12 home games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium,” Ms Cunningham said.

The 12-card set comprises (not in order of release): Reuben Cotter, Tom Dearden, Scott Drinkwater, Kyle Feldt, Jake Granville, Coen Hess, Valentine Holmes, Jordan McLean, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Murray Taulagi, Jason Taumalolo and Chad Townsend.

“The first card of the series, featuring Jason Taumalolo, will be released to full season members at game one against the Bulldogs on Sunday 13 March,” Ms Cunningham said.

Cowboys Chief Marketing Officer Jacqui James-Eggins said the Cowboys trading card set would likely become a coveted collector’s item for fans.

“The challenges of the pandemic over the past couple of years have brought many changes, including a nostalgic return to hobbies we enjoyed in the past, such as seeking and collecting trading cards,” Ms James-Eggins said.

“Cowboys trading cards are always in high demand, but this limited edition 2022 members-only collection is something special, requiring attendance at every one of our 12 home games to complete the set,” she said.

“To see some of the most popular names in our club, if not rugby league, captured on these trading cards in such a fresh and colourful way, will give Cowboys full season members under the age of 17 d something to look forward to from March until September.”
