Six Gold Stars named in extended Maroons Origin squad

Six North Queensland Toyota Gold Stars have today been named in the extended Queensland Maroons Origin squad.

Fullback Romy Teitzel, hooker Emma Manzlemann, outside backs Katie Green and Jasmine Peters and edge forwards Zoe Cook and Shaniah Power were all named in the 34-woman squad.

The group will meet for a series of camps starting this Saturday on the Gold Coast, with the squad to be reduced following the completion of the upcoming NRLW season in early 2022.

Last week, Gold Stars half Tahlulah Tillett and second-rower Rangi-Marie Edwards-Bruce signed NRLW contracts alongside Teitzel, Manzlemann and Green, while Power and Peters will line-up for the Gold Coast Titans.
