Thanks to the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works

Take a bird’s eye view of the North Queensland Stadium!

This footage from Friday 1 March 2019 shows the stadium build is about 38% complete.

The North Queensland Stadium project is on schedule to be completed in time for the start of the 2020 NRL season.

The Department of Housing and Public Works is leading the delivery of the North Queensland Stadium project, which is expected to support up to 750 jobs throughout the design and construction stages.

The North Queensland Stadium is a joint project of the Australian Government, the Queensland Government and Townsville City Council and is supported by the National Rugby League and the North Queensland Cowboys. It forms part of the Townsville City Deal signed in December 2016.
