2019 match-up v Storm

Cowboys v Storm

Round 5, Friday, April 12, 1300SMILES
Round 25, Friday, September 6, AAMI Park

Looking ahead: An early season prime-time blockbuster and a regular-season ending clash await the Cowboys and Storm in 2019. The Storm travel north for a Friday night battle in Round 5, the final fixture of three consecutive home games for the Cowboys. Paul Green's men wrap up the regular season with a trip to Melbourne in Round 25.

Storm changes: Club legends Billy Slater and Ryan Hoffman have retired after glittering careers in Melbourne. Ryley Jacks and Tim Glasby have moved on, while Young Tonumaipea has embarked on a Mormon Mission. The Storm are yet to announce any signings for 2019.

'Tatey says': Obviously they are going to be really strong again in 2019. I'm really interested to see who they play at fullback, whether they shift Munster, put Jahrome Hughes back there and they've got young Scott Drinkwater who is a really good player as well. It's all going to centre around who plays fullback and what structure they choose to play.
