North Queensland Toyota Cowboys winger Nene Macdonald suffered a fracture and dislocation of the left ankle in last night’s match against the Melbourne Storm.
Macdonald was taken straight to hospital following the incident and will have surgery today.
He will be assessed by Cowboys medical staff post-surgery, but the club expects him to miss an extended period.
