Starting the 2023 season on the wing, Polata eventually made the move into the middle over the back end of the season.
A Tongan International, the 21-year-old made her State of Origin debut for the Maroons in Townsville in 2023.
After a strong start to the 2025 season, Polata tore her ACL against the Broncos in Round 6, ruling her out for the season.
Polata is contracted until the end of the 2025 season.
