Cowboys NRLW team list: Round 8 v Tigers

China Polata has been named to make her long-awaited return from an ACL injury in Sunday’s showdown with the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.

Polata hasn’t appeared at NRLW level since tearing an ACL in Round 6 of the 2024 season. She has been named in the second row, replacing Tallisha Harden, who suffered a minor quad injury.

Star front-rower Makenzie Weale has been named to return from a broken finger, which sidelined her for Sunday’s win over the Bulldogs. Tafao Asaua pushes back to the reserves after making her club debut last weekend.
