Seven North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Old Boys have been named for Saturday's Carl Webb charity game at Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe.
Following five seasons with the Broncos, Mt Isa-born Webb (Cowboy #168) made the move to North Queensland in 2005, making 115 appearances over six years for the club. By the time he had retired in 2011, Webb had played 187 NRL games and made 15 appearances for Queensland and one for Australia.
Cowboys Old Boys Adrian Vowles (#12), Matt Bowen (#125), Brenton Bowen (#151), Willie Tonga (#201), Dallas Johnson (#219), Ben Hampton (#261) and Josh McGuire (#278) have all been named in stacked team lists that feature more than 8,000 games of NRL and Super League experience.
The match, which includes a host of NRL, Origin and International legends, as well as Mark Hunt, Chris Lynn and Piri Weepu, will aim to raise awareness and funds for motor neurone and Huntington's diseases.
