Drinkwater sets career-high in win over Titans

We take a look at some of the key stats to come out of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys win over the Gold Coast Titans on Thursday night. 


The number of points the Cowboys conceded in the second half, the seventh time they have held the opposition to nil after the break in 2022. North Queensland have allowed just 43 second half points this season at an average of just 3.31 points.


The team-high number of tackle breaks by Brendan Elliot and Jason Taumalolo. In his club debut for the Cowboys, Elliot also ran for 108 metres and made 31 post-contact metres.


The team-high number of tackles made by Reece Robson, missing just one. The 23-year-old also ran for a season-high 116 metres, scored a try and made three tackle breaks. 


The number of points the Cowboys have scored in their three XXXX Derby matches this year, while conceding only 22. North Queensland have a positive for and against of 160 through the opening 13 rounds. 


The match-high and career-high number of metres by fullback Scott Drinkwater. The 25-year-old also added three try assists, three line break assists and four tackle breaks.


The season-high number of metres the Cowboys ran for on Thursday night. Scott Drinkwater (226m), Jason Taumalolo (207m) and Murray Taulagi (197m) led the way for the visitors.
