Cowboys release Hola

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have agreed to release forward Peter Hola from the final year of his contract to take up a long-term deal with another NRL club.

Hola came through the Cowboys New Zealand Academy before moving to North Queensland prior to the 2017 pre-season.

He earned his NRL debut late in 2019 and played 12 games over the next three seasons.

“We would like to thank Pete for his service during his time at our club,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said.

“He was a valued member of our playing group during his three seasons in the NRL squad and we would like to wish him all the best for the future.”
