Teitzel to make NRLW debut this Saturday

North Queensland Toyota Gold Star Romy Teitzel has been named to make her NRLW debut for the Brisbane Broncos this Saturday at ANZ Stadium.

A Tully junior, Teitzel is a five-eighth/fullback who played a major role in the Gold Stars Round 1 QRLW win over Ipswich Brothers, before scoring three tries in five rounds for the West Brisbane Panthers in the Holcim Cup.

Meanwhile, fellow Gold Star Shaniah Power has been named in the second-row for the New Zealand Warriors in their clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Both games will be broadcast live on Channel 9, with the Warriors and Dragons battling at 11.30am, before the Broncos take on the Sydney Roosters at 3pm.
