North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forward Shaun Fensom has arrived back in Townsville to a hero's welcome, just days after breaking his leg in the NRL Grand Final.
The Cowboys enforcer has undergone surgery in Sydney after he broke his fibula and tibia bones in his left leg only minutes into the match at ANZ Stadium.
Fensom was accompanied by wife Leah and daughter Elsie on the flight home, to be greeted by members and supporters keen to show their support for their brave Cowboy.
