Young prop Braden Uele will make his National Rugby League debut after being a late inclusion in the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ team to play the Sydney Roosters tonight.

Uele, 22, will come off the interchange bench as Shaun Fensom was ruled out with a rib injury.

Uele will be the seventh player to debut for the club this year and the fourth NRL debutant alongside fellow forward Corey Jensen, Gideon Gela-Mosby and Kyle Laybutt.

The Cowboys are sitting fifth on the National Rugby League ladder with 12 wins from 18 games. The game versus the Roosters kicks off at 7.30pm on Saturday, July 29.
