North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Jake Granville and Sam Hoare recently swapped footballs for fishing rods to join competition winner Kenneth Wright and his friends on a ‘money can’t buy’ experience, thanks to the Toyota/Cowboys Gone Fishing competition.

After spending $50 or more at Mike Carney Toyota – a local North Queensland Toyota dealer – Kenneth was drawn as the lucky winner of an exclusive fishing tour featuring a private helicopter adventure including food, drinks, bait and equipment.

Leaving just after sunrise, the chopper took Kenneth and his mates to three of Townsville’s more secluded fishing hotspots – the Haughton River, Salmon Creek and Bray Rock – over the course of the day.

The group also enjoyed a gourmet lunch with spectacular ocean views.

“We had a great time fishing with Kenneth and his mates, and even managed to catch a fish or two,” Granville said.

“We’re grateful for Toyota’s support in helping create a unique experience like this.”
