No-nonsense forward Ben Spina didn’t get as many opportunities in the top grade this year as he did in 2015, the 28-year-old Ingham product playing in two games – Round 18 versus the Raiders and the Round 24 clash against the Warriors.
A late recruit to the NRL, Spina let no one down in two solid cameos off the bench, the rugged back-rower noted for his uncompromising defence, toughness and fitness.
