Cowboys race to 20,000 members in club-record time

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys are thrilled to announce the club has reached 20,000 members in record time.

Ahead of Saturday night’s clash against the Dolphins at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, the club’s official membership tally has surpassed the 20,000 mark, the earliest the Cowboys have reached this milestone in recent years.

The achievement has been made possible by the incredible support of our loyal members across North Queensland, around Australia, and internationally, with members as far as Hinstock, England proudly flying the blue and grey flag.

The club’s membership base continues to stretch far and wide with full season members travelling from Bankstown, NSW to see the action live at Queensland Country Bank Stadium each week.

The club credited the milestone to the unwavering loyalty of its members, as well as the support of official membership partner StreetSmarts, who has played a key role in the program’s growth.

Group General Manager Consumer & Brand, Emily Roebuck thanked members for their outstanding support this season.

“To reach 20,000 members this early in the season is a fantastic achievement for our club and a testament to the passion and dedication of our members,” Roebuck said.

“The support we’ve seen across the opening months of the season has been incredible, from strong home crowds at Queensland Country Bank Stadium to our opening round in Las Vegas, our members continue to show up wherever we play.”

Cowboys prop and Membership Ambassador, Coen Hess acknowledged the important role members play on and off the field.

“Our members are the heartbeat of this club, and they play a huge role in creating the atmosphere that lifts us every time we run out,” Hess said.

“On behalf of the playing group, we want to thank you for sticking with us and backing us every step of the way.”

Tipping the tally was Darren Reemeyer from Harrington Park in New South Wales, who purchased a Dual Cowboys Maroons membership, but has been a member since 2019, supporting in enemy territory as a Super Star member.

With plenty of NRL football still to play and an exciting NRLW season approaching, the Cowboys are set on continuing to grow the Cowboys family in 2026.

“With plenty of exciting football still ahead across both our NRL and NRLW seasons, there has never been a better time to join,” Roebuck said.

Fans can still secure a Cowboys membership for the remainder of the 2026 season with a bunch of marquee games around the corner, or get in early and stand with our NRLW side.
