North Queensland Toyota Cowboys under-20s coach Aaron Payne has made just one injury-forced change to his team ahead of Friday’s round 4 match against the Broncos.

Utility Duarne Dempsey (ankle) comes out of the team, with back-up hooker Calum Gahan returning to the side after a couple of weeks out.

Payne has named bench forward Emry Pere in the No.18 jersey.

The second-placed Cowboys are now two wins and one loss from their opening three games, while the Broncos have one win and two losses.
