North Queensland Toyota Cowboys under-20s coach Todd Payten has made several changes to his team ahead of tonight’s Round 26 National Youth Competition match against the Titans at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Payten has rested fullback Kalyn Ponga, five-eighth Kyle Laybutt, backrower Coen Hess and prop Viliame Kikau for the match as the team looks ahead to a potential week one finals match-up against the Manly Sea Eagles.

Yamba Bowie, Ty Carucci, captain Kieran Quabba and Ross Bella will fill in the respective positions with the new-look bench consisting of Mitch Dunn, David Munro, Bill Cullen and Cody Maughan.

The young Cowboys need only win tonight to clinch the NYC minor premiership.

The game kicks off at 5.15pm.
