North Queensland Toyota Cowboys front-rower James Tamou has retained his place in the New South Wales State of Origin side to play the XXXX Maroons on 27 May.
Tamou has played eight games for the Blues, between 2012-2014, and will be part of the starting pack at ANZ Stadium next Wednesday night after a successful recovery from off-season neck surgery.
