The 2015 fundraising season for the Cowboys Community Fund has kicked off with the generous donation of $10,000 by Coca-Cola Amatil, as another big year of community grants begins.

Coca-Cola Amatil Regional Manager North Queensland Paul Woodhouse presented a cheque to Community Fund Chairman Wayne Nicholson at the Cowboys' season opener against the Roosters at 1300SMILES Stadium.

“The fund is now in its tenth year and Coca-Cola Amatil has been there every step of the way,” Mr Nicholson said.

“With their help and that of our other major partner, the Cowboys Leagues Club, the Community Fund has a solid base for each year’s operations.”

The Fund is also supported by many private donors (through deductible gift recipient status), along with their annual Cowboys corporate golf day.
