Local family-owned company Tropic Petroleum has renewed its major sponsorship of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys for the 2015 season.

In operation for over 30 years, Tropic Petroleum is one of the largest single-family petroleum and convenience store operators in Queensland.

Their extended partnership with the Cowboys was announced on Monday at Tropic’s newest Caltex service station at Roseneath.

“Tropic Petroleum has been a long-standing partner of the Cowboys since the club’s inception 20 years ago and we are pleased to continue our ongoing support of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys as a major sponsor of the club,” Tropic CEO Jamie Regan said.

“We are a local company that likes to put money back into the local community and this sponsorship is an extension of our support for this community,” he said.

“Tropic Petroleum is proud to be part of the North Queensland community and we look forward to the Cowboys’ 2015 season.”

Toyota Cowboys General Manager – Commercial Steve Mitchell said Tropic’s decision to continue its commitment was another strong show of support for the club heading into the new season.

“To have great companies like Tropic Petroleum in our family of partners is rewarding for us and it’s great news for the Cowboys and our members and fans that they’ve continued to show their support for the next season,” Mr Mitchell said.
