There may be another NYC debutant for the Toyota Cowboys this weekend with Jordan Kenworthy included in an 18-man squad to face South Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Coach Todd Wilson will decide later in the week whether to call on the Ignatius Park College back-rower, who was a member of the Townsville Stingers’ under-18 national championship team earlier this season, as well as making the Queensland Schoolboys squad.

Monday night’s debutant, Jared Verny, has been promoted to fullback to face the Rabbitohs, with Yamba Bowie switching to the No.7 jersey to replace Cooper Bambling who will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Viliame Kikau returns from a one-game suspension up front while Regan Grieve and Bill Cullen have been recalled to the interchange bench.

The under-20s will be without forward leader Patrick Kaufusi who is set to play for the Northern Pride in the Intrust Super Cup this weekend.

North Queensland will enter round 24 in 12th position on the ladder and are no longer in finals contention after losing to Penrith on Monday night.
