Welcome
Thanks for being part of the Cowboys family. These terms explain how your 2027 membership works — how you pay, what you get, and what happens if you need some support with your membership.
When we say 'we', 'us' or 'the Club', we mean Cowboys Rugby League Football Limited. When we say 'you', we mean you — the person named on the membership account (the primary account holder). If your account covers other people (like family members), you're responsible for making sure they also follow these terms.
Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't legally be excluded.
1. Joining as a member
1.1. How to join. You can sign up online, over the phone, or in person at the Hutchinson Builders Centre. You become a member for the 2027 season once we accept your application.
1.2 Membership categories. We offer three main types:
a) Ticketed memberships give you access to home games (for example Club 95, Diamond Star, Platinum Star, Gold Star, Flexi 4, Flexi 10, Flexi 20, Home Star and NRLW).
b) Away memberships give you access to specific away games (for example Distant Star, Bris Vegas and Sydney Membership).
c) Non-ticketed memberships don't include game access but include other benefits (for example Super Star, Rising Star, Dual Cowboys Maroons, International, Digital and Access memberships).
1.3 Confirmation. Once we've processed your application, we'll email you a confirmation within three business days. If you don't have email or don't hear from us, please call our Membership Team on 1300 462 692.
1.4 Joining after the season starts. If you sign up after the first home game, we don't offer pro-rata pricing unless we've advertised it. You'll pay the price listed on our website.
2. Renewals and auto-renewal
2.1 How auto-renewal works. If you pay by credit or debit card, your membership rolls over automatically each season. We'll email you before we charge your card, so you know what's coming and can update your membership details or payment plan.
2.2 What we charge. The price of your new season's membership is the price we tell you in the renewal email. Your card on file will be charged on the payment date (Tuesday, 15 September 2026 for the 2027 season).
2.3 If you didn't pay by card. If you paid by cash or EFTPOS, your membership won't renew automatically. You'll need to renew it yourself before the cut-off date, or your seat and benefits will be released.
2.4 Special renewal pricing. Renewing members who roll over or renew by the special pricing deadline may get discounted rates. New members don't get this pricing. After the deadline, standard prices apply.
2.5 Keeping your details current. Please make sure your card details, contact details and email address stay up to date. You can update your card online, but you'll also need to call our Membership Team to confirm that future payments should come off the new card.
2.6 How to opt out. If you don't want auto-renewal, follow the opt-out instructions in your renewal email before the deadline. Opt-outs can't be accepted over the phone, in person, by post, or any other way — the instructions in the renewal email are the only way to do it.
2.7 If you don't opt out. If you don't follow the opt-out steps, we'll charge your card for the next season's membership.
3. Paying for your membership
3.1 Payment methods. You can pay in full by Visa, Mastercard, cash or EFTPOS at the time you apply. Charges will appear on your statement as 'North Queensland Membership'.
3.2 In-person payments. Cash (exact amount only) and EFTPOS payments can only be made at the Hutchinson Builders Centre, 26 Graham Murray Place, Railway Estate, Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm (excluding public holidays). Please don't send cash in the mail.
3.3 Best available seats. If you apply by phone, in person or by post, we'll allocate the best available seats at the time your payment is successful.
3.4 12 monthly instalments. Ticketed members can spread the cost over 12 monthly payments by Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS.
3.5 First instalment. If you sign up before 15 September 2026, we'll charge your first instalment on application to confirm your card works. If you sign up on or after 15 September 2026, we'll bring your payments up to date with the fixed schedule immediately.
3.6 Instalment dates. Instalments come out on the 15th of each month (or the next business day if the 15th falls on a weekend or public holiday). You can't change the instalment date, but you can make extra payments anytime through your MyCowboys Account Manager.
3.7 What we'll do if a payment fails or is declined, we'll:
a) try again over the next 14 days;
b) let you know by SMS or email; and
c) ask you for an alternative payment method if needed.
You're responsible for any fees your bank charges for a failed payment.
3.8 Repeated failures. If your payment fails we may pause or cancel your membership without notice. If we do, you'll lose access to games, merchandise offers and pre-sale windows until you're paid up. It can take up to three business days to reinstate your membership once payment clears — and your original seat may no longer be available.
3.9 You still owe the money. If your membership is paused or cancelled for non-payment, you still owe the outstanding amount. We may recover it, including through a debt collection agency, and any recovery costs will be added to your account.
3.10 Outstanding debt from previous seasons. You can't renew or join a new membership while you have unpaid debt from a previous season.
3.11 Something wrong with a payment? Please contact our Membership Team.
4. Membership categories and eligibility
4.1 What counts as a family membership. A Family of Two is one adult and one junior. A Family of Four is two adults and two juniors. Both the adult and junior components must be included — if you don't include a junior, we'll charge adult prices for both seats.
4.2 Junior Membership Age categories. Juniors must be 15 or younger on 1 March 2027.
4.3 Under 4s. Children under 4 on 1 March 2027 don't need a membership or ticket, but they need to sit on an adult's lap — they can't occupy a seat.
4.4 Named memberships. Each junior needs their own membership in their own name, with a date of birth on the account. If we don't have a date of birth, we'll charge the adult price.
4.5 Aging out. Once a junior turns 16, we automatically move them to an adult membership at the next renewal.
4.6 Who qualifies for a concession membership. Concession memberships are for people with a current government issued Pensioner Concession Card, Full-time Student Card or Service Pension Totally and Permanently Incapacitated.
4.7 What we need to validate your concession membership. Your concession card must be valid for the whole 2027 NRL season and you must show it at the venue if we ask. If you can't show a valid card, we can't let you in. Health Care Cards, Seniors Business Discount Cards, International Student Cards and dependents listed on someone else's concession card are not eligible.
4.8 Companion Card membership. Full-season ticketed members with a valid Companion Card can get a second seat at no extra cost for their carer.
4.9 How to apply for a Companion membership. You'll need to send us an image of the Companion Card (by email or in person) with your application — these memberships can't be bought online. Call our Membership Team on 1300 462 692 to arrange it. We'll keep a copy of the card on file.
4.10 How it works. The Companion Card membership is issued in the Companion Card holder's name. It gives access to games but no other benefits or merchandise, and can't be upgraded for individual games.
4.11 Using it. The seat can only be used by the Companion Card holder's carer, while they're with the Companion Card holder. If the Companion Card stops being valid, the seat can be bought at Junior, Concession or Adult prices.
5. What your membership includes
5.1 Benefits. Membership benefits vary by category and change each season. The current benefits for your category are published on our website.
5.2 Changes. We may change the name of membership categories, add new categories, or change prices from season to season. If demand for a benefit exceeds what we've allocated, we may substitute an alternative of similar value.
6. Pre-sale ticket access
6.1 What's on offer. From time to time the NRL releases tickets to members before the general public — for State of Origin, International Tests, NRL Finals and the Grand Final. These offers have their own terms and conditions, which the ticketing provider will send with the offer.
6.2 No warranty from us. We don't make any promise or warranty on behalf of the NRL or event organisers about these offers. You'll need an entitlement code to buy pre-sale tickets, and we'll send this by email.
6.3 Priority order. Usually, full-season ticketed members get first access to the NRL's pre-sale window. All other Cowboys members get second access — before the general public but after full-season members. Sometimes the NRL will set a different access priority, which is outside of our control.
6.4 Stay in the loop. To get pre-sale offers, you need to be subscribed to NRL ticketing offers via our preference centre.
6.5 Home games. Members can buy tickets to regular season 2027 home games online before the general public. We'll email you instructions before the season starts.
7. Member discounts
7.1 Tickets. You get 10% off select home game tickets for family and friends — up to four tickets per game per member. Just use your membership number when buying through Ticketmaster.
7.2 Merchandise. You get 10% off at the Cowboys Team Shop (excluding members' polos and select items). Show your membership in-store, or log in to the Team Shop with your MyCowboys details online.
8. Cowboys Leagues Club membership
8.1 Free Leagues Club membership. If you're aged over 18, and a holder of a multi game or full season ticketed membership, you'll receive an offer for a complimentary Cowboys Leagues Club membership (valued at $11).
8.2 One per person. You can only hold one Leagues Club membership. If you're already a member, you can't claim the free one on top.
8.3 Personal use only. The Leagues Club membership can't be transferred or listed in a family or company name.
8.4 We need your date of birth. So we can verify your age. Members under 18 can't have or use a Leagues Club membership.
8.5 Food and drink discount. Leagues Club members get 20% off food and drinks at the Cowboys Leagues Club and Podium Café. Licensing rules mean children can't use another member's Leagues Club card to buy food or drinks.
8.6 Valid until. Your Leagues Club membership is valid until 31 October 2027 and is subject to the Leagues Club entry conditions, any applicable QLD licensed venue laws and membership conditions as per the Cowboys Leagues Club constitution. (cowboysleagues.com.au/contact/).
8.7 How you'll get it. The Leagues Club will email you directly about collecting your card and using your benefits. Photo identification is required to collect your membership card from the Leagues Club. Cowboys Leagues Club members must also have their photograph taken, which will be printed on their Leagues Club membership card for security purposes.
8.8 Questions? Contact the Leagues Club on (07) 4724 8000 or info@cowboysleagues.com.au.
9. Refunds, hardship and cancellations
9.1 Your consumer rights. If you're entitled to a replacement or a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, we'll provide one.
9.2 Change of mind. You can cancel your membership anytime, but we don't refund for change of mind or personal circumstances (unless our hardship policy applies).
9.3 Returning merchandise. If we do give you a refund, you'll need to return any merchandise from your membership pack first. If you can't return it, we'll deduct the retail cost (and any postage) from your refund.
9.4 Our hardship policy. If your personal or financial circumstances change, our Hardship Relief Request policy may allow payment relief or a refund. Email membership@cowboys.com.au for an application form.
9.5 If we cancel for reasons outside our control. We may cancel a game or event if something outside our reasonable control happens (a 'Force Majeure Event'). This includes things like fire, storm, flood, earthquake, war, pandemic, government orders, labour disputes, transport failures, or acts of third parties like the NRL. We'll do our best to let you know. We don't offer refunds for these cancellations, but we'll contact you about rescheduling or other options.
9.6 The stadium. We don't own or operate Queensland Country Bank Stadium, so we can't guarantee your seat won't be affected by events outside our control.
9.7 When we might cancel. We may suspend or cancel your membership if you:
a) breach the terms of entry at Queensland Country Bank Stadium;
b) breach the Cowboys Members & Fans Code of Conduct; or
c) are removed by security or police from the stadium.
10. Using your membership properly
10.1 Personal use only. Your membership is for your personal use as the account holder — not for commercial purposes.
10.2 What 'commercial purpose' means. This includes marketing promotions, competition prizes, market research, data collection, community engagement, educational purposes and awareness campaigns.
10.3 No re-selling. You can't re-sell your membership for commercial purposes, either as a whole or in parts (like match tickets or Cowboys Team Shop vouchers).
10.4 What happens if you do. If we find your membership has been used commercially, or you've let someone else use it commercially, we'll cancel all your Cowboys memberships (consumer and corporate) without a refund, and refuse any future applications.
10.5 Member Seat Return Program. If you can’t attend a game, then you can access our Seat Return Program before the game. The details can be found https://www.cowboys.com.au/membership/benefits/members-seat-return-program/
11. Your privacy, communications and media consent
11.1 How we contact you. Our main way of contacting you is email, but we may also call or text you about your membership. Please keep your contact details up to date.
11.2 Marketing communications. When you join, you agree to receive:
a) club updates and offers;
b) sponsor and partner offers; and
c) NRL ticketing offers.
11.3 Opting out. You can unsubscribe or change your marketing preferences anytime through the preference centre link at the bottom of every Cowboys email.
11.4 Media consent. As a condition of membership, you agree that we (and our affiliates and agents) can use your image, likeness and any interview statements in our publications, advertising or media (including online), without payment, now or in the future. If others use your membership, you confirm they also give this consent.
11.5 Your personal information. We collect, use and disclose your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy at cowboys.com.au/privacy-policy. That policy explains how you can access, correct or complain about how we handle your information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not disclose personal information outside Australia.
12. Digital and International memberships (streaming offers)
12.1 Third-party services. Digital Membership (Kayo) and International Membership (WatchNRL) streaming offers are provided by third parties. Your use of them is subject to these terms and the applicable third-party terms of use (including the Watch NRL Terms of Use at watchnrl.com/terms-of-use).
12.2 Activation. We'll email you an activation email with a unique code within seven days of purchase (please check your junk and spam folders). You must sign up with the unique code we send — sign-ups or payments through third parties are excluded. One redemption per person, and your subscription starts on the day you sign up. Offers are non-transferable and can't be combined with any other offer.
