Community Partners

Adani is a Major Partner of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and presenting partner of the club's cornerstone community program, Adopt-a-School. Through their support, Adani is continuing the connection of the full squad of ‘adopted’ NRL Cowboys and ambassadors with participating schools across Townsville, Palm Island, Ayr and Bowen, with visits each term and for special milestones on the school calendar.
Townsville City Council is a Major Partner of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. With a heavy focus on community, Townsville City Council support Cowboys programs such as Community Corner and Field of Dreams. Through their partnership, Townsville City Council also have access to the Cowboys High Performance team who host an annual training session for young athletes in Townsville, exposing them to elite athletic training programs.
Allara Learning is a leading national educational and training provider that excels in the delivery of tailored training solutions to businesses and individuals across Australia. Through their major partnership, Allara Learning assist in the Cowboys Dream, Believe, Achieve community program, creating pathways for North Queensland hospitality and business students.
Westfund Health Insurance is a Major Partner of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and the official Health Fund of the Club. Westfund sponsor the ‘Hero of the Week’ which acknowledges members of the North Queensland community at Cowboys home games for their hard work and displays of kindness.
Hutchinson Builders, in partnership with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, engage with the Palm Island community through the Cowboys Game Development and Adopt-a-School programs. Hutchinson Builders have the opportunity to present information and advice to the youth about entering the construction industry.
Deadly Choices aims to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to make healthy choices for themselves and their families – to stop smoking, eat good food and exercise daily. Through their Community Partnership, the Cowboys are able to support Indigenous health campaigns with a focus on the North Queensland community.
North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation are responsible for the strategic planning, business and infrastructure development across North Queensland. Through their partnership, NQBP host a tailored community program, the North Queensland Bulk Ports Blitz. With focus areas in port communities (Mackay, Bowen, Weipa and Sarina), the Cowboys are able to deliver rugby league clinics within the schools and broader community.
Localsearch is Australia’s favourite small-business digital marketing agency who have been actively working in the community for 25+ years. Localsearch thrive on putting local communities at the heart of their business. With common values on giving back to the community, their partnership with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys was a perfect fit. Localsearch are the proud presenting partner of the annual Laurie Spina Shield, which brings over 1,000 players, volunteers and spectators from different communities together to play a weekend of rugby league.
Elders have been supporting the bush and local communities for over 175 years. Through their partnership with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys, they support grassroots community initiatives and are the proud partner of the reinvigorated Boots for the Bush program. Together, they have been able to deliver hundreds of boots to rugby league-loving kids across the Gulf and Western Cape.
Aon are partnering with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys to deliver the Try for 5! Aon Challenge within local Townsville schools. Wulguru State School, Heatley State School and Townsville West State School are visited by Cowboys personalities Ray Thompson and Matthew Bowen and are taught the importance of attending school five days a week.

The Cowboys Supporters Team spend hundreds of hours volunteering to raise funds that go towards the Cowboys player development programs. The programs supported by the Cowboys Supporters Team have a successful track record in developing players through the ranks and ultimately wearing a Cowboys NRL jersey.
M&J Chickens has a passion for family and community and provides many local Townsville businesses with fresh poultry. Through a Community Partnership with the Cowboys Try for 5! program, children at Willows State School, Currajong State School and Weir State School are visited by Cowboys personalities Ray Thompson and Matthew Bowen. The Cowboys Try for 5! program focuses on the importance of attending school 5 days a week.
Evolution Mining owns and activates five gold operations in Australia. The Mt Carlton Mine are the presenting partner of the Cowboys Obe Geia challenge hosted on Palm Island. Named after former Cowboys player and Palm Island local Obe Geia, the carnival promotes the benefits of sport, fitness and healthy living and grassroots rugby league and aims to increase positive attitudes and behaviour and reduce truancy.
Smit Lamnalco provides first class, reliable and customised marine support in challenging environments, ensuring safe and efficient operations in any part of the world. Through a Community Partnership with the Cowboys, club personalities travel to Weipa, Mackay and Townsville to deliver JRL clinics for the local community.
SeaLink Queensland has been an award winning transport service since 1997, providing the quickest link between Townsville, Magnetic Island and Palm Island. SeaLink are the supporting partner of the Cowboys Obe Geia Challenge and through their support, children are transported to Palm Island at no cost to the participants and their families.
Wilmar owns and operates eight sugar mills in North and Central Queensland. Wilmar is recognised as a second-tier sponsor of the Cowboys Adopt-a-School program in the Burdekin region. Through their partnership, Wilmar also host JRL clinics in the Burdekin and Ingham communities.
