North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NRLW Captain Emma Manzelmann has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a Lisfranc injury.
Bree Chester will captain the side in Manzelmann’s absence, taking the reins for the first time since being named Vice-Captain prior to the season.
Alisha Foord has been named at hooker to replace Manzelmann. It will mark Foord’s first start at dummy-half since the opening round of the 2024 season.
Lydia Turua-Quedley has been recalled at five-eighth, with Tallara Bamblett reverting to the reserves.
Reigning Northern Pride BMD Premiership Player of the Year Nadia Windleborn is set to make her NRLW debut after being named on the interchange by Cowboys Head Coach Ricky Henry.
The 20-year-old livewire dummy-half joined the Cowboys’ NRLW squad for 2026 after a stellar BMD campaign with the Pride in 2025.
