The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have agreed to Top 24 NRLW contracts with Emily Veivers and Haylee Hifo for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
A 10-time PNG International, Veivers spent the 2025 season with Wigan, who claimed the Challenge Cup and Women’s Super League double.
The 24-year-old utility forward has played four seasons in the BMD Premiership across stints with Souths Logan, Brisbane Tigers and North Devils.
Along with her 10 appearances for the PNG Orchids, Veivers has also played three games for the PNG Prime Minister’s XIII.
A dual Rugby Union International with both Tonga and Samoa, Hifo has also appeared for Tonga at International level in rugby league.
Also 24, the speedy outside back split 2025 with the Western Force in the Super W and the Mackay Cutters in the BMD Premiership.
“Emily is a reliable and incredibly hard‑working player who brings toughness to everything she does,” Cowboys NRLW Head Coach Ricky Henry said.
“Her versatility and experience in big games will be invaluable for our squad, and her winning mindset adds a real competitive edge to our team.
“Haylee is an elusive outside back with a strong combination of power and speed. She’s calm under pressure, has a lot of effort in her game and brings real presence in contact.”
