Bateman named in England's squad for Ashes Tests

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys second-rower John Bateman has been named in England's squad to take on the Kangaroos in the Ashes series later this month. 

One of six NRL players in the 24-man squad, Bateman is one of the most experienced, having played 27 Tests for England and four for Great Britain.
