The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys host the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday afternoon at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
1. HONOURING OUR DIGGERS
Anzac Round is one of the biggest fixtures on the Cowboys’ calendar, especially when played at home in Townsville, which is Australia’s biggest garrison city. North Queensland will don specially designed Defence jerseys, the second edition of a collaboration between the Cowboys and the Australian Army’s 3rd Brigade. Pre-game attractions include a performance from the 1RAR Band and a full Anzac Ceremony just prior to kick off.

2. MILESTONE MUZ
Cowboys winger Murray Taulagi is set to become the 33rd player in club history to appear in 100 games on Saturday evening. The 26-year-old debuted in 2019 and became a first grade regular in 2021 before going on to represent Queensland, Australia and Samoa. Taulagi is closing in on the top 10 try scorers in club history, with his 55 tries trailing 10th placed Michael Morgan by four.

3. CURTAIN RAISER
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity for a double dose of footy action, with Cowboys feeder club Mackay Cutters taking on the Tweed Seagulls at 3pm. Cowboys contracted players expected to be in action include Semi Valemei, Jaxson Paulo, Tom Mikaele, Karl Lawton, Xavier Kerrisk and Jeremiah Mata’utia.

4. TITANIC TUSSLE
The Cowboys have won four out of their previous six outings against the Titans, including three straight at home. The two teams split the 2024 fixtures, with the Cowboys claiming a 35-22 victory at home in Round 5. North Queensland lead the head to head battle 20-13.
