Values key to Ricky Richards Cowboys partnership

Ricky Richards, Australia’s leading distributor and manufacturer of specialised technical textiles and industrial fabrics, is now a Major Partner of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys.

The two-year partnership will see the Ricky Richards logo feature on the back left of the Cowboys’ playing shorts during the 2024 and 2025 NRL Premiership seasons.

Cowboys Chief Executive Jeff Reibel said the partnership would connect the Australian, family-owned business with one of the National Rugby League’s most diverse industry networks.

“Our corporate and commercial partnership programs comprise over 50 North Queensland industries across the NRL’s largest geographical footprint,” Mr Reibel said.

“We look forward to supporting Ricky Richards to build strong commercial relationships throughout this vast network to supply their high-quality products to the North.”

Since 1983, Ricky Richards has supplied specialised textiles, fabrics, external blinds, awnings and print media to the sports, agricultural, healthcare, transport, marine, mining, residential and construction industries.

Tom Arciuli, Ricky Richards Marketing and Brand Manager, said the Cowboys partnership offered an exciting opportunity to grow Ricky Richards’ loyal customer base in regional Queensland through a shared passion for rugby league.

“In forty years we’ve built our business from a family start-up to become one of Australia’s most trusted industry suppliers, but throughout this time our commitment to quality, service, reliability, integrity and fun has remained the same,” Mr Arciuli said.

“These values have allowed us to develop long-standing relationships with our manufacturers and suppliers so we know the products we supply are the highest quality and are built to last, including our external blinds, awanings, shade sails, boat covers and more,” he said.

“We look forward to offering the Cowboys industry network access to our expansive product range, which includes shade structures, high performance tensiles made for the elements, industrial erosion protection and high impact print media,” he said.

“We’re also proud to stand with the Cowboys in the name of the North as they embark on their 2024 NRL Premiership campaign.”

Ricky Richards’ business model also includes a philanthropic arm which has donated over $500,000 to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation, Melanoma Institute Australia and Australian Skin Cancer Foundation.
