Seven contracted Cowboys named in Qld 19s Emerging  Origin squad

Seven North Queensland Toyota Cowboys contracted players have today been named in the Queensland Under 19s Emerging Origin squad.

Jamal Shibasaki has been training with the NRL squad this pre-season, while Mutua Brown, Xavier Kerrisk, Mason Kira, Jaxon Purdue, Kai Simon and Matthew Watts are all a part of the Young Guns program.

The 30-man squad will assemble in Brisbane this Sunday as they start their preparations for June's match against New South Wales at Leichhardt Oval.
