North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forward Griffin Neame is set to be sidelined for two months after suffering a throat injury in last Friday’s XXXX Derby against the Dolphins.
Neame was taken to hospital post-game where scans revealed he has suffered a cricoid fracture.
The 22-year-old was discharged from hospital on Sunday and is facing a minimum eight-week recovery.
