Three Gold Stars named in Queensland U19s team

North Queensland Toyota Gold Stars outside back Jasmine Peters, middle forward Jordii Mahendrarajah and edge forward Zoe Cook have been selected in the Queensland Under 19s 18-woman squad ahead of Friday's clash with New South Wales on the Sunshine Coast.

The Gold Stars trio were part of the two Queensland teams that faced off in the final of last month’s National Championships in Redcliffe.

The match will act as a curtain-raiser for the women’s State of Origin and kicks off at 5.15pm.
