Cowboys release Marsters

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have today agreed to release Esan Marsters from the final season and a half of his contract to take up an opportunity with another NRL club.

Marsters joined the Cowboys prior to the 2020 season and scored two tries in 15 games.

The 24-year-old will depart the club immediately.

“Esan’s time at our club has been predominately during the extremely challenging COVID period and I can only commend him on his attitude turning up to work every day,” Cowboys Head of Football Micheal Luck said.

“We wish him and his family all the best for the future.”
